Yogurt cheese can be easily prepared with your store-bought yogurt by straining the yogurt over a bowl overnight. The curds stay on top and the whey drains in the bowl. You can even repurpose the whey for your morning smoothie!
If you want a savory yogurt cheese to serve as a cheese spread for your favorite whole grain crackers, or served as a dip for fresh crudité, season with garlic, onion or spicy hot seasonings, or with fresh herbs. If you want a sweeter yogurt cheese, you can use low fat vanilla yogurt as the base and spice it up with a dash of cinnamon to accompany your favorite fruits.

1.Place yogurt in strainer over bowl for 24 hours.
2. Remove curds, top portion from strainer, mix with until blended.
